The Livestrong Ride is a local bicycling event that raises money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The Lance Armstrong Foundation provides support and assistance for people living with cancer.
Our downtown restaurant is sponsoring a bicyclist, Ivan Rosenhouse, in this year's Livestrong Ride coming to Portland on September 24th. Our goal is to raise at least $2,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
In this spirit, we will donate 20% of the proceeds from every group menu order between March 1, 2006 and September 1st, 2006 to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. So, ask your server how your group order can go towards supporting a good cause.
This is part of an ongoing effort on our part to give back to the communities that have supported us. In the future, we would like to continue supporting great causes through this group order donation program. If you are passionate about a cause in our local community, we'd love to hear about it.
