Roasted Pork Bao


Our bao chef, Howard, has whipped up an awesome roasted pork bao, which we've started serving at the Pacwest location. Howard has his own secret recipe and makes every one of them in our kitchen by hand. They're saucy and out of this world! We'll be rolling them out at Lloyd Center in a week, but in the meantime, come by our downtown location and give it a try.

Dumplings & Kids



I had the privilege to teach a dumpling cooking class to a great group of 13 year-olds at the Haley House Bakery in Boston, MA. The class was a part of a gang resistance after-school program, where the kids come into the kitchen once a week and cook different food from around the world. What a great idea!

Cooking is such a fun activity for kids, and it's a great skill for them to learn. I would love to host a community program like that in Portland, and I think our Pacwest location would be a great place to hold it on weekends.
